October 1991 to September 1994

CLIENT: COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE, ALBERT A. WEBB, ASSOCIATES

PROJECT: ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS #159 AND #161, TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA. 

($200 MILLION PUBLIC FACILITIES DISTRICT INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS. FUNDED BY MELLO ROOS BONDS).

As a Division I, Engineering Inspector (American Construction Inspectors Association) my expertise in the areas of Quality Control and Specification Compliance for all types of heavy Public Works construction was the catalyst for employment as a Project Inspector. The Riverside County Assessment Districts AD159 and !61 included approximately $200 million in major flood control, highway and transmission utility structures.

PROJECT: ASSESSMENT DISTRICTS #159 AND #161, TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA.  ($200 MILLION PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS DISTRICTS FUNDED BY MELLO ROOS BONDS)

My demonstrated design and construction expertise prompted employment as a quality control consultant to the project design civil engineer, Rancho Pacific Consultants. They recognized the value of having an experienced design engineer with proven construction management capabilities review their designs, specifications and construction contracts.  

September 1980 to June 1985

JACK G. RAUB CO. (MISSION VIEJO COMPANY) MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA

 My duties as a staff engineer covered the entire scope of engineering design for residential, industrial, commercial, infrastructure and institutional development projects. Transportation facility design included arterial highway layout, design and grading programs to balance the roadways with adjacent development areas. Roadwork and transportation engineering to industry standard and specific local conditions were a vital part of my work in this area of design. I was also called upon to resolve issues in the field created by conflicts between plan design and field conditions. 

January 1978 to September 1980

RMG ENGINEERING, INC., IRVINE, CALIFORNIA

Small civil engineering design company specializing in residential, industrial and commercial development projects. This employment allowed me to learn fundamental grading design and expanded my knowledge of pressure and gravity water systems. I capitalized on my past experience as an Agency employee to get project plans processed expediently through plan check and approval.

June 1975 to January 1978

City of Huntington Beach Water Department

I was promoted to Civil Engineering Assistant for the Department after working in the field for the years between 1970 and 1975.. My duties in this position included facilities index maintenance, capital improvement design and  the preparation and submittal records required by the State Health Department for the treatment and monitoring of domestic water .
